Smt P.K.Sreemathi, the minister for health and social affairs, formally inaugurated the modernized x-ray centre of Payyanur Government Hospital this afternoon. Minister praised the humanitarian services offered by Payyanur Dot Com. She promised that necessary action will be taken to solve the problems of the government hospitals in Kannur and Kasargode district before 31st August. Minister was responding to the memorandum submitted Payyanur Dot Com requesting the posting of specialist doctors for Ortho surgery and Ophthalmology in the government hospital.

P.Balan Master presided over the function. Municipal Chairman G.D.Nair was the chief guest. Adv T.V.Ajayakumar, Adv Sasi Vattakkovval,P.Appukuttan Master, P.Leela, Dr Abdul Salam, T.P.Gangadharan offered felicitations. B.Sajithlal delivered the welcome address and V.T.V.Damodaran offered vote of thanks.

The X-ray centre was modernized at a cost of Rs 75,000 and is fully sponsored by Payyanur Dot Com.

The new X-ray setup will be a blessing to the patients depending on the government hospital who belongs to the poor section of Payyanur and nearby places.

Earlier Payyanur Dot Com has conveyed our willingness to carry out  some charity works at Government Hospital and was instructed to take  up the modernization of the X-ray plant by the Municipality and the hospital management.
