Samagamam-2006, the 6th anniversary celebrations of Payyanur Dot Com was held at Sharjah, UAE on 26th May 2006. Indian Media Forum president K.P.K.Vengara inaugurated the function held at Indian Association Auditorium. Janardhandas Kunhimangalam presided over the function. M.K.Madhavan (president , Indian Association Sharjah), K.K.Moideen Koya (Program Director, Jeevan TV), T.P.Gangadharan (Mathrubhumi), Ramesh Payyanur (Asianet Radio), M. Abdul Salam (President Payyanur Souhruda Vedi, Abu Dhabi) and K.Bhaskaran Nair (President Payyanur Souhruda Vedi, Dubai), Jayachandran Kallath (Jt Secretary, Payyanur Souhruda Vedi, Bahrain ) offered felicitations. B.Jyothilal presented the report on Payyanur Dot Com. V.T.V. Damodaran delivered the welcome address and V.P.Sasikumar offered vote of thanks.

Various cultural programs also were held during the function. The event began with a vibrant performance of chendamelam by Gopalakrishnan and team. Solos by Ashwathi Mohan, Naisam, Farseena, K.Sajay and Gopika, mono act by Shanu Krishnan, Payyanur Kolkali by V.T.V.Damodaran and team added flavour to the function. Support Offered To Payyanur Govt Hospital: Payyanur Dot Com offered a generator to the newly constructed labour ward of Payyanur Govt Hospital as a souvenir of Samagamam 2006. The project will cost Rs 50,000. The amount for the project will be raised through the contributions of Payyanur Dot Com and its well wishers.
