Radhakrishnan Narikode (popularly known among friends as RK), hails from Narikode near Payyanur.  RK, whose life is devoted for the deprived and discarded, is also the author of many literary works in Malayalam and English.  After completing education in Payyanur College and in Calcutta, worked with Khaitans Group in Calcutta, Delhi and Bangalore for more than 10 years.  Lived and  worked in Saudi Arabia from 1985 to 1995.  After reaching back India, spent five years in Kollur (Karnataka) and Anandashram (Kanhangad) until early 2000, editing Sri Mookambika and Jnanageetha  magazines, traveling and writing. Accepted job offer from previous employers again in 2000 and is now working in ABB Saudi Arabia.  

Having published hundreds of poems and articles in various Malayalam periodicals and magazines from early 1970's, two of RK's books (collections of poems and articles) are being published by his friends and will be out later this year.   He is the mind behind ‘Avasanappuram’ in Sri Mookambika magazine published every month. Some of his articles are published in Payyanur.com Articles Page.
