Ramesh Payyanur is a well known radio artiste in Gulf countries.
His voice is very familiar among non-resident Keralites living in Gulf
Counties via Asianet Radio, Dubai. His programmes like "Chayamakkani", "Nakshathrajaalam"
got wide applause from the audience. Presently Ramesh is the Asst Program
Director of Asianet Radio. In his career he got opportunity to interview
many famous personalities like KJ Yesudas, Mammotty, Mohanlal and many
other political leaders and social workers.

Ramesh who is a talented mimicry artist started his radio career
from Uaq Radio in 1994. He is the founder member and first news reader
of Asianet Radio. Ramesh as a mimicry artist performed with popular
troupes in Kerala and he has formed his own mimics troupe "The funny
mimics" in 1986. He has bagged countless prizes for mimicry competitions
in local-district-state level as well as in university competitions . He
also acted in stage dramas, tele-films and tele-serials as well as radio
dramas with All India Radio. | ||||

Ramesh is one of the founder leaders of Payyanur Souhruda Vedi,
the global unity of Payyanurians. Presently he is the general secretary of
PSV’s Dubai Chapter. Ramesh’s father, retired teacher Sri.T.K Kanna Poduval (photo) is a known writer. His mother Smt. K.Chandramathy is a retired teacher. Ramesh is now living in Sharjah with wife Preetha and kids Vishnu and Jishnu. | |||
