The formation meeting of Payyanur Sauhruda Vedi was
held at South Park Restaurant on Friday, the 20th June,
2003. A total of 45 people participated in the meeting. The meeting
started at 6.00 pm and concluded at 07.30 pm. Shri Sukumaran
Kallath welcomed the gathering and invited Shri C.R. Nambiar to
Chair the meeting. Shri C.R. Nambiar in his presidential speech
appreciated the idea and assured all possible supports.
Shri Balan Payyanur, Shri Karunakaran as well as Shri
E.V. Rajeevan (Asianet TV fame of Sola Varthamanam) spoke to the
gathering about the necessity of having our own association.
In order to plan the future activities, an adhoc
committee consisting of 12 members has been formed electing Shri
Balan Payyanur as Convenor and Shri Sukumaran Kallath as Joint
Convenor. |
